Bass Buggie

Made in the United Statesby KC Strings, the Bass Buggie is specifically designed to be both convenient and to protect your bass from damage during transport. It’s easy and fast to attach the Buggie to the double bass: the adjustable double belt system attaches to the neck of the double bass with a sturdy elastic strap, while the lower end of the Bass Buggie attaches to the endpin, which does not have to be removed.

The structural advantage over traditionally designed bass wheels is that there is no pressure applied to the lower block, where bumps in the walkway can act as a lever putting unnecessary strain on the instrument. The level of force applied when using the Bass Buggie is no more than when the double bass is lying on its side on the floor. The combination of the Bass Buggie’s flexible body and the padding of the bass bag works together for better protection of your bass, but an added cushion is also available for added shock absorption.

High-quality, non-marking ball bearing wheels make it simple to push the bass both indoors and outside. The bass can stand on its own, although we at bassico do not recommend leaving the bass unattended in this position.
